A Harvard-Harris poll shows a supermajority of Americans think the GOP will win the government shutdown battle. The poll asked, “Who do you think will win the government shutdown- the Democrats or the Republicans?”
62% of respondents chose the GOP and 38% chose the DNC. GOP voters picked their side with 92% of the vote while the Dems were only 70% sure they will win. The difference comes from independents, who chose the GOP by a 62-38% margin over the DNC.
